Sally Allen is one of three daughters of Margaret and Gordon Gill. She joined the family business in 2014 as the St.Germain development was getting under way. Sally had responsibility for overseeing the site development, working closely with Beveridge Williams and Bayport to deliver all the civil infrastructure. More recently Sally, as a Shareholder Director on the Gill Family Corp Board, has been focussed on the strategic development of the Group.
Prior to returning to Melbourne to join the family business, Sally lived and worked in Canberra. She held senior roles at the Australian Property Institute and Australian Institute of Building, focussing particularly on education and training, including accrediting degree and technical qualification courses. She worked closely with the respective boards to set up continuous lifelong learning for their members to support the industry, membership and businesses. Sally has also had a long and distinguished career in elite sport, as both a player and coach. She established netball development programs and pathways in Victoria and the ACT, which encompassed talent identification, skill development and representative team competition. Sally has coached at both national and international levels.
